The idea formulated at the Frankfurt exhibition Heimtextil (9–12.01.2018) by the FranklinTill agency sounds like The Future is Urban (future in urban spaces). By the end of the XXI century most of the population will live in cities. There is a seal of megacities. City dwellings are becoming more compact - multifunctional interior solutions and transformers are in demand. Designers' minds are occupied by modular sofas, folding chairs, folding Murphy beds and shelving revolving around their axis. We need flexible spaces and the ability to accommodate a minimum number of meters.

Danish Studio Studiomama designed housing in the heart of the British capital. On an area of 13 square meters. meters have all the necessary furniture, including the bed and workplace, and all the functions are taken into account - living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and storage.

Each of the different size cabinets is designed for a specific use - for example, for storing a sewing machine, toys, wine, products, and books. Sliding doors are tinted in pastel shades of yellow, pink and blue hues.

The kitchen takes place at the entrance and is surrounded by two high cabinets. Behind the wall is a bathroom and a bathroom - the only isolated room.

“We have created integrated storage and seating elements that have a dual function and can be used in other interiors, including office space. We wanted the space to work intuitively, without too much electronics, ”says Nina Tolstrup.

Danish designer Nina Tolstrup founded Studiomama in 2000 with her husband and designer Jack Mom. Modern aesthetics combined with the belief in good design for all determines the quality of her work. Studiomama develops furniture, electronics, jewelry, glassware, deals with exposition design and architecture. Studio projects affect the minimum budget without losing originality and humor.
