Architectural studio Penda (Chris Precht and Dayong Sun) designed the original bridge across the Chinese River Gui. The bridge is an integral part of the infrastructure of the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022. He will connect the capital of China with the city of Zhangjiakou. The shape of the construction of intertwined spirals should evoke memories of the mountain landscape of the area. There are plans to attract world-famous architects to Olympic construction, which will turn this area into a tourist center.

The 452-meter bridge is a structure consisting of three arch-type elements intersecting above and below the road with a maximum span of 95 meters. The four-lane highway is separated from the pedestrian paths by green landings.
