The New York hosts the The Salon Art + Design fair (1o-14. 11. 2016). In essence, this is the format of the PAD European Fair, which is held in Paris at the end of March every year, and in London in the middle of October. On the stands of 55 galleries there are works of art and design from 1980 to the present day. Cologne Ammann Gallery (Cologne), Gate 5 Gallery from Monaco, London Gallery Fumi, the company of the famous Belgian antiquarian and decorator Axel Vervord. Dealers brought excellent things, prewar rarities side by side with masterpieces made two months ago. Collectors check out the works of Zaha Hadid, the brothers Umberto and Fernando Campana, the duo Formafantasma, museums and foundations look at the tables and chairs of Jean Prouve, Joe Ponti, Jean Rouier. Europeans are driving across the Atlantic and discovering the new names of designers to the local public, but the fair is strong with the participation of American dealers. Such a concentration of American sellers and American designers is neither in London, nor in Paris, nor in Basel, nor in Miami.
