Vasconcellos furniture is really light in the literal and figurative sense. The designer found a way to offer a versatile and affordable way when the object is cheap, compact and can be quickly and easily assembled in any conditions - without screws, nuts, bolts, etc. Thus, the kitchen unit consists of seven elements. They, according to the instructions, are connected together like a three-dimensional puzzle. The prospects for such products for the interior in the microliving trend are enormous.

Born in Brazil, Stefano graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Design in IED Istituto Europeo di Design in Italy. In 2013, he founded the design studio Stefano Carta Vasconcellos, since 2015 he has been conducting a product design course at Istituto Europeo di Design and has become an expert in digital technologies in the research program of Sardegna Ricerche, the technology research agency of the Sardinia region.

In his workshop, he produces a lot of things - from cutlery to stools and tables, creating Celer furniture - “100% individual furniture”. The peculiarity of the method of designing Vasconcelos is that it is initially set up for customization.

“Each item of Celer furniture is tailored to the needs of the client: it is designed with parametric logic, therefore without standard dimensions. This means that any change in size does not increase the cost. This allows us to satisfy any particular request with great ease. ”
