Rubelli: venetian textiles in wonderland

The new collection of In Wonderland interior fabrics and wallpaper Rubelli Venezia is full of discreet chic and noble magnificence. Jacquard velvet with embossed ornaments, shimmering brocade with a complex composition of natural silk and metallic threads, gold and silver damasks on a matt Trevira background ... Many decors are a modern interpretation of ancient samples of the 18th and 19th centuries found by Rubelli Design Studio specialists in the historical archive factories. The main focus is on various 3D effects that convey the delicacy of antique lace, the ancient weaving of Iranian carpets, the shine and twinkling of the metal mesh. Monophonic fabrics offer the finest color gradations - from the finest and dusty to rich and bright.

In the 2016 collection, there are 20 items of interior fabrics of a wide variety of textures and colors: brocade, velvet, stripes, and Chenille. Over 200 color options.

To create the collection, Rubelli designers selected 6 types of interiors belonging to different styles and different eras. They served as a source of inspiration and gave an impulse for creative imagination. An abandoned ancient castle, a rational and spacious exhibition hall, a neoclassical residence, shaded private chambers, a historic palazzo in the center of Milan, a fashion photographer's studio ... Spaces where everyone can remember their own history causing an endless chain of associations and memories.
