Plumbing paolo ulian: carved out of marble

Italian object designer and sculptor Paolo Ulian (Paolo Ulian) has been working with marble for many years. His latest development for the brand Antoniolupi is the limited edition classic Introverso sink.

Ulyan delicately combines the manual skill of carving with mechanical finishing. As a material, the designer uses Carrara marble, traditionally considered one of the most expensive.

The shell has a double structure - a light external volume, “rugged” with thin edges, and an internal one, made in the form of a curved vessel. A small chrome-plated faucet complements the weightless snow-white matte sink. Obviously, when choosing a form and material, Ulian was inspired by classic marble sculptures - his Introverso resembles an antique fountain for drinking.

The double structure of Introverso - the inner “vessel” is hidden by translucent marble. Marble Bowls Introverso. Introverso fine lines - the result of machine finishing. Then the perfection of the form is achieved manually. Option sink with a cone-shaped bowl.
