Cozy, warm, enveloping - so the customer wanted to see her home. In this case, it was not about a compact cottage (with which the above-mentioned epithets are easily linked), but about a country mansion with an area of 1700 square meters. with tall, up to 8 meters, ceilings. Such a task required skill and experience from the architects of MK-Interio: large spaces have their own nuances.

“The customer is a creative person both by profession and mindset,” says Alexandra Kazakovtseva. “She led the project on an equal basis with us, invested in a huge volume a lot of parts that were dear to the heart — all in order to make the house comfortable for life. We discussed in detail each item and material. Moreover, tactile sensations were not less, and sometimes even more important than the external effect. Represented that people will feel, touching the railing of the stairs, touching the armrests of chairs. They fantasized about how the crystal table would shine in the sun, how the marble of the fireplace portal would reflect the flow of light from the window, and the glossy lacquer would set off the matte ... This interior is not to be seen. Things don't scream about their value. But every second, barely opening the front door, the person living here feels: "I'm at home."

Large areas allowed customers to translate what is not available in a city apartment, to realize all their dreams. For example, take a bedroom of 60 square meters, put a four-poster bed, as if you are on vacation all the time and fall asleep in a luxury hotel in the Maldives. Equip a gym, massage room, Turkish bath, winter garden. When they could not determine what the bathroom should be in the main bedroom (the husband and wife tastes didn’t coincide), they simply decided the question: they took and planned two bathrooms: romantic for women and brutal; “For this, you need a country house to allow yourself different moods,” the authors of the project are convinced.

Before the architects came to the site, two design teams started working on it. Neither one nor the other did not meet the expectations of customers who have wasted time, money and nerves. Alexandra Kazakovtseva and Maria Makhonina started the project from scratch.

“Such a sad story is not uncommon,” says Maria. - For the creation of interiors, high professionalism is needed, it is evaluated only on the realized objects. Finding an architect on the pages of authoritative publications is one of the ways to insure yourself against a wrong decision. ”

The house has many beautiful chandeliers and almost no built-in light. “Decorative lamps are typical of traditional-style interiors (namely, this country house is kept in such a way): here you want to see even diffused light, rather than a point light.” In addition, chandeliers play the role of a dominant: they hold large rooms, emphasize the height, make the view strive upwards - provided that they are commensurate with the rooms.

Alexandra and Maria recall: in the creative family, the choice of painting and graphics was interesting, the collection was formed. “And the work, apparently, is not yet finished. Genres, eras and technology are the most diverse. There are several works of contemporary Swiss artist Stefan Spiecher. In the living room a large canvas - the original of the XVII century. The relief white work of Aija von Leper successfully fit into the bedroom.
