The customer, a young dandy, wanted his apartment to be bright, spectacular, made an impression, leave a feeling of celebration. To realize these wishes, the architect
"This is a bachelor apartment with all the ensuing consequences. The customer wanted to be comfortable here," says Igor, "at the same time the atmosphere of the holiday should have been felt. However, this is not a party place where big companies meet. No, it's just the interior, in which it will never be boring. And everyone who gets inside the apartment understands at a glance: yes, the owner has a sense of style. " The bachelor character of the apartment is reflected in the fact that a minimum of attention is paid to the life-support zone - the kitchen, the dining room. The kitchen is nothing more than a niche in the wall, a dining room ... not at all. In the place of the kitchen provided for in the original layout, a large-scale bathroom appeared, the two former bedrooms were combined into one, and the main role in the apartment, after all the changes made by the architect, began to play the living room with a powerful home theater. In second place is the bedroom, divided by a special stand with a television panel into two zones - the actual bedroom and the seating area, a kind of chill-out with a sofa group at the window.
“The customer wanted to get a spectacular interior,” says the architect. “The natural and almost win-win solution in this case is the choice of contrasting color combinations. We have anthracite black (leather and lacquered surfaces of furniture, bedroom walls and even radiators) and in a pair to it bright red (chandelier and armchairs in the living room, sofa group in the chill-out, walls of the bathroom). Complement the picture with carpets in white and dark stripes and a checkered pattern on the chill-out floor and in the living room. " In order to make an impression, unusual materials are also used. "By themselves, they are just quite ordinary, but their appearance in a residential interior is a certain kind of innovation, and only a few, both architects and customers, decide on this," continues
If you define the style of the apartment on the basis of the selected materials, you can not hesitate to refer it to the high-current. If you look at the situation, you want to talk about minimalism; if on accessories, then, most likely, it will be a question of glamor. “And let's just say so - minimalism with hints of glamor,” - smiling, says the architect.
