Laufen: bathroom culture

An integral component of the Laufen logo is the phrase: "The culture of the bathroom since 1882", as well as the Swiss flag - a white cross on a red background. Thus, it is emphasized that the brand has incorporated the traditions and values of Switzerland, a country whose products are characterized by the highest quality, premium design, accuracy and environmental correctness. Laufen, which celebrated its 120th anniversary last year, is rightfully considered to be an expert in bathroom solutions and a leading global manufacturer. Its specialists have unique knowledge of materials and modern technological processes.

We consider it an important event to be the creation of a collection developed jointly with the Italian brand Kartell - it is world-famous for its designer furniture and accessories made of high-quality plastic. The artistic direction of the project was entrusted to Louis and Roberto Palomb - designers, who are fairly considered to be trendsetters in creating bathrooms (for example, the Palomba Collection and LB3 collections were created in collaboration with this duet). It is worth noting that this is not the first such alliance of the company. One of the most famous collections from Laufen - Ilbagno Alessi One - was created in collaboration with the Alessi bureau.

Every year we market a lot of new products. So, the Palomba Collection has been replenished with a tub made of cast marble and a free-standing sink. Both elements are bright dominants of the series, whose form is inspired by nature - natural protrusions and curves of rocks. Visually lightweight, rigorous Pro S models were added to the successful Pro line. Sinks and toilets of symmetrical geometric shapes are as functional as possible, as all Pro elements are: the sink bowls are deeper, rectangular and square models are built into the thumbs, and save space. Laufen also presents bathroom faucet lines: CityPro - the urban series, which embodies the simplicity of shapes, Curve Prime - an elegant collection for premium spaces. There are other lines - each with its own character and purpose.

Throughout history, the Laufen brand has repeatedly created technologies that influence the development of the industry as a whole. One such innovation is injection molding. Today, the company also presents a number of revolutionary developments. Among them, a toilet model with a hidden rim pro rimless. Water is supplied from a single hole in the bowl, but thanks to a powerful drain system, absolute rinsing is ensured, both with the 6/3 liter system and with the 4.5 / 3 liter rinse. The novelty will be a good solution for private homes and public spaces: the lack of a rim ensures ease of care and ensures high hygiene. Laufen furniture is equipped with a special compact siphon. Thanks to its small dimensions, you no longer need to cut in the inner drawer - the necessary space for storing things does not disappear.

Cleaner keramic

A real innovation from Laufen. This ceramic material includes the mineral corundum, which is found in nature as a component of sapphire. Its addition causes exceptional durability of ceramics. According to tests at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing in Berlin (BAM), it is twice as high as the results of sanitary porcelain. Cleaner keramic weighs half as much, but it has greater mechanical strength. This allows you to reduce the wall thickness to 2 mm.

Cleaner keramic sinks are easily recognizable by the minimum wall thickness, which, however, in no way reduces their strength.
