The Heberlin-Bauman family, owners of the Hotel des Berges existing in Alsace for 150 years, in 2006 started to build an extension and place a spa in it. Architecture and interiors were done by Patrick Juan and Sanji Mancu (Jouin Manku).

Landscape - Silvio Rauseo (Atelier Rauseo). João and Mankyu decided to treat the building in the style of local barns, with wooden beams, a stone base, a gable roof.
