The owners of the Rosewood Group entrusted the reconstruction to the first names of the French design scene. Two suites were designed by the famous 18th century connoisseur Karl Lagerfeld - they were called Les Grands Appartements. Tristan Oair, a master of exquisite palette and an expert on antiques Shahan Minassyan, architect Cyril Vergniol participated. General management was carried out by architect Richard Martinet (Richard Martinet) and art director Aline Asmar d'Amman (Aline Asmar d’Amman). Landscape guru Louis Benech had a hand in landscaping terraces and courtyards. Hugo Matha sewed an impressive uniform for the staff.

The Landmark building has a rich history: the stately complex on the Place de la Concorde began to be built under Louis XV, designed by royal architect Jacques-Ange Gabriela. The palace where the hotel is located today was designed by Louis-François Troir. In 1788, the building was acquired by the Duke de Crillon for 300,000 livres, and it became the residence for several generations of a noble family.

And when the last owner of the Crion clan, the duchess de Polignac, died, the palace was turned into a hotel. It happened in 1909. For more than a hundred years, English King George V, Japanese Emperor Hirohito, Charlie Chaplin, Helmut Kohl, Richard Nixon, Elizabeth Taylor, Madonna, Michael Jackson and other celebrities stayed here.

Initially, the hotel was planned to open in 2015. But the scale of the work did not allow to meet the deadlines. The changes affected the lobby, restaurants, rooms and apartments, facades. Two underground floors were dug out, where the spa and the pool are located - now De Crillon meets all the criteria of a five-star luxury hotel. It has 78 rooms, 36 suites and 10 signature suites. The largest room has an area of ​​245 square meters. m plus two terraces of 100 square meters. m

To respect the history, to preserve the entourage of the palace of the XVIII century, at the same time make it clear that the yard is the twenty-first century, and of course to create a proper level of comfort - this was the task of the authors.

In the furniture used valuable antiques, as well as objects made to order according to the sketches of the authors of the project, they were realized by the best craftsmen of France. Chandeliers were made by masters of Baccarat, ancient lamps, preserved in the hotel from the previous times, were restored by the Bronze makers Luizien Gau.
