Customers turned to architects Irina Mavrodieva and Arthur Gogh at a stage when construction had not yet begun. The owners had a finished project of the “box” at home, but it needed to be seriously finalized. Therefore, the architects took an active part in the construction, made their adjustments to the project, the internal layout and design of the facades. The authors drew their ideas about the future of the interior from the initial project: a squat house with a pitched roof was somewhat reminiscent of a chalet-style building. To enhance the effect, eaves overhangs were made more prominent, the basement was laid out with stone, and a tree appeared in the decoration of the facades and window covers.
