The new restaurant Kaléo is designed, invested and managed by the Found’d Group (the company has existed since 1979 and also owns seven restaurants, a bar and a tapas bar). The institution is located near the waterfront and the historic center of the city. Interiors were handled by local professionals David Raffoul and Nicolas Mussallem (architectural bureau david / nicolas). They are in demand and well known far beyond Lebanon. Just by order of Carpenters Workshop Gallery, they have designed space for the gallery at the TEFAF fairground in New York, and the Milan gallery Nilufar sells their chair.

For the restaurant Kaléo they invented an ingenious mix of mid century modern and elements of traditional architecture. The teeth and zigzags, preserved on ancient monuments, became the unifying motif of the interior. Of course, the palette of the restaurant is focused on the abundance of sunlight. Contrast colors, while complex. Green, blue and marsala tint guarantee the guests of the restaurant high spirits and pleasant pastime.
