"Experience of Color" - the French exhibition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Pompidou Center - invites you to experience color as matter, color as space, color as light and color as movement.

An ambitious show takes place at the Museum of Ceramics: Sèvres - Cité de la céramique. Here you can see the shades that contributed to the creation of the Sevres Porcelain brand. Thousands of them were created in the “laboratory” of the manufactory (production was founded in 1740): sky-blue, pink Pompadour, orange Sottsassa ... Experimental palettes always met the needs of artists who collaborated with the factory.

Frederic Bode, the curator of the exhibition, selected the exhibits so as to show the nuances and compare the differences of coloristic perception in abstract painting, modern photography, subject design, cosmetics and even gastronomy. For culinary experiments, Nicolas Darnauguilhem himself is invited, the chef of one of the best institutions in Europe - the Geneva restaurant Neptune.
The exhibition L'Expérience de la couleur runs from October 13, 2017 to April 2, 2018. Sèvres - Cité de la céramique.
