Cersaie 2016 - high ceramic fashion week

Cersaie is the largest trade show in the world. Manufacturers of ceramic tiles, ceramic granite and sanitary ceramics participate in it. About 1,000 companies, over 100,000 visitors from 160 countries. The exhibition takes place in Bologna from September 26 to 30, 2016. Traditionally, the program includes a number of workshops and seminars. The list of 2016 includes conferences organized by such renowned manufacturers as Ceramiche Refin, VitrA, Iris Ceramica Group, Oikos. Сersaie 2016 will launch a presentation by Norman Foster (Fosters and Partners) and Professor Francesco Dal Co, a specialist in modern architecture. INTERIOR + DESIGN experts expect to see seven major trends at the exhibition:

2. Ceramic brick - imitations of brickwork, “metro” tiles in a variety of variations with facet and without.

3. Gray over gray. Walls and floors appear in all nuances of a neutral palette. Relevant muted shades that help to show all the richness of the ornaments and relief: fashionable octagons and Binet cubes.

4. Shevron or zigzag. Combinations of tiles of different formats and different degrees of gloss for one surface. Fashion for vintage ornaments, characteristic for wallpaper. The most popular composition is chevron.

5. Ceramic marble. White classic marble and marble vein pattern, reliably published in porcelain stoneware. Now in new formats, with new color quality and proximity to its unique original.

6. Graphic design. In a fashion optical effects and pencil drawing, uneven lines and simple shapes. Watercolors and pictorial abstractions are welcome.

7. 3D walls. Difficult terrain appears in micro and macro scales (up to 3 m). They appear both in the drawings, in particular, in the fashionable graphics, and in the minimum size of mosaic tesser and convex relief.
