I believe that this is the exact opposite of the creative process. If the creator comes up with something and realizes himself in his work, then in this case it is very easy to recognize. First of all, I strive to maintain the concept.The form can be changed in the process of cooperation with the factory, but the concept is by no means ... Very often, when I come to the factories to my clients, they tell me that I am a major specialist on trash bins. I always rummage in what they throw away. Because very often a professional in a particular area is not able to appreciate some extraordinary trifles, to take a fresh look at them. Look "zamylen" what is called. And I can ... Furniture project, developed by me for CASAMILANO, is the whole stage of my creativity. I wanted to do things in the style of sensual minimalism, and I think it was possible. I especially love furniture, whose façade is finely ribbed, like skirts from the collection of Isse Miyake ... As for my collaboration with the factory GERVASONIThe backstory is simple. Four years ago, the owners of the company asked me to come up with a new concept for them. I was attracted by the fact that the factory is over a hundred years old, which means that the tradition of weaving from natural materials has been preserved in production. In Italy, she is now practically dead: firstly, because of the high cost of manual labor, and secondly, very few resources remain, that is, the actual materials. We started cooperation, deciding that we will develop products with a new image, while maintaining the idea of ​​weaving and commitment to natural materials. "Now, being a full-time designer of the factory GERVASONIPaola is also the main designer of the home collection. ARMANI CASA, the appearance of which is now looking forward to the whole world.
