The opera diva Anna Netrebko presents the tea set "Aida", issued by the Imperial Porcelain Factory (St. Petersburg). “I am happy to present my first collection“ Aida ”, created together with one of the largest porcelain manufactories in the world, and to contribute to the history of modern porcelain,” comments Anna Netrebko. The tea set for six persons includes a teapot, a sugar bowl, a milk jug and cups with saucers. “Aida” will be released in two versions - Limited Edition and Exclusive Limited Edition. The Limited Edition series will produce 1,500 copies in the decal technique with manual detail processing. Exclusive Limited Edition will appear in a circulation of 50 sets, each item will be painted manually in them. The sets of both series have the same pictures, but different shades of the background: in the Limited Edition version, the background is golden, in the Exclusive Limited Edition version - the background palette varies from cobalt blue to sand color.
Anna Netrebko was inspired by Giuseppe Verdi's opera, created by order of the Egyptian ruler Ismail Pasha for the opening of the Cairo Opera Theater in 1871, to create drawings for the author's porcelain collection. Anna makes her debut in Aida in the summer of 2017 as part of the Salzburg Festival with Italian conductor Riccardo Muti. After the world presentation in Vienna in December 2016, the service will be exclusively presented in the Imperial Porzellan Wien salon - the official partner of the Imperial Porcelain Factory in Austria.
