The August Project proposes to issue banknotes of one, five, 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollars in color polymer. The New US Dollars series consists of translucent layers of flexible plastic, which makes money more durable than current paper bills. The visualization shows random samples of numbers and letters glowing on their surfaces in the dark, which complicates falsification.

In addition to the monochrome portraits of iconic figures in the project of Andrei Augustus, there are other recognizable images for Americans. At $ 100, for example, the designer connected the Liberty Bell with Benjamin Franklin. The image of the American astronaut Buzz Aldrin is placed on the back of a $ 20 bill. Translucent layers let you see him behind the image of John F. Kennedy.
