He stands in the forest almost at the very edge of the water. Baltic? No, Siberia. Two-storey house with huge windows overlooking the sea, built near Novosibirsk The Ob reservoir, or the Ob Sea, is an incredibly beautiful place. There is space here - a special genre on the list of the beauties of nature. Right, it is worthwhile to build a house here, in order to at least occasionally come here to spend a weekend with friends. Something like this was judged by the customer who lives in Novosibirsk, and bought a ready chopped house. Then he invited the architects, formulating the task as follows: we need a guest villa, a house for friends, able to receive guests at the highest level. Therefore, it should be representative enough, functional enough - in accordance with its “guest” role. The main requirement was a free, open space where you can drink a cocktail, dance or watch a good movie. And nothing superfluous - neither in the planning, nor in the decor. The architects made the house look like its owner, a young and dynamic man. Moreover, such in general purely human qualities, such as youth and dynamism, they managed to convey with the help of purely architectural means. It turned out very emotionally and fresh: open space is not traditionally “flowing”, but rather moving. The game of planes of the ceiling and walls, brutal beams, like bridges, hanging in two-light space. The ladder, similar to the avant-garde design, spins up in a spiral. It sets the "speed parameters". The shiny metal, leather-wrapped railings and steps give rise to a lot of associations - automotive, musical, emotional. The appearance of the stairs, paradoxically, sets a high bar of values: if the car is Bentley, if the music is classical jazz. If design is Le Corbusier, Philip Stark and Antonio Citterio. All the subjects of this series - "car of gentlemen", music, the works of the great and good design - and those attractive that forever young. They are not just eternal, like any classic, but they are young: this is how things are felt that have a powerful creative beginning. The architects gathered them together, created a suitable environment for them, supported them with pleasant associations that everyone completes on their own. It is not surprising that the theme of youth in the "home for friends" sounds in full force. But the main thing, of course, is the result. According to the owner of the house, the result fully met expectations: the villa on the Ob Sea has become one of the most secular places for the elite.Mikhail Karpenko: "Our customer is a young, dynamic person who wanted to have a country house on the Ob Sea to spend weekends with friends.
