Salon of collection design and art PAD selects the winners of the PAD Prize. This year the authoritative jury was headed by Marie-Laure Jusset, honorary curator and head of the design department of the Pompidou Center. All judges are deeply rooted in the industry and have a high reputation. Among them are the President of the Museum, Orsay Guy Kojeval, designers Philippe Starck, Vincent Darré, India Madavi, Francois Katra, Sarah Lavoine and many others. The honorary presidium of the award is architect Jean-Michel Wilmott, President of the International Council at the Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts Helene-David Weill, and Christophe Navarre, President of Moët Hennessy The strict judges selected four laureates.

The prize for the best object of modern design was shared by two nominees: glass sleeves (Sleeves) - the project of the Italian Laura de Santillana, presented by Parisian gallery owner Clara Scremini (Clara Scremini Gallery) and a collection of lamps and accessories designed by RoWin'Atelier - a proposal from the gallery of Alexander Guillemen Guillemain).

The best piece of arts and crafts of the twentieth century was named the large wall carpet with 12 zodiac signs - the work of designer Ernest Boisot, 1930, presented by Pierre Passbon (Galerie du Passage).

For the best exposition, Flak gallery was awarded (oceanic sculpture and African masks are exhibited in a black space surrounded by white show walls).

The choice of the jury is interesting in its own way, but not indisputable. It reflects the complex intertwining of interests, conjuncture and the long history of the existence of the award.
