Hippo-bar, which opened in the Novosibirsk entertainment center "Hippopotamus", is designed for a young democratic public. According to the architect, the project was created under the conditional name "YSLi". The game was based on the play of forms, materials, colors and light. Subtle texture relationships (whitewashed board and white lacquered ceiling, exposed concrete bearing columns and self-leveling floor), reflections and a roll between architecture and "furniture" - all this creates a light interior. At the top of the space is collected perimeter plank "sandbox". It has a built-in second ceiling, which is the main plastic accent of the interior. White color dominates in the hall. Red highlights the plane of the tiled wall, emphasizes the mosaic bar counter and crumbles in details - cushions, lamps, ventilation grilles. In addition to red, lime and a little orange and lilac are added.
