Decorator Elena Berezina Made from an apartment in Irkutsk, a wonderful example of Parisian style. This interior is a true declaration of love to the capital of France.

In modern French style, to which the author of the project decorator Elena Berezina Carries this apartment, a little bit of everything. This neo-baroque and elements ar-deko, there is something of neoclassicism. “After all, Paris itself is very different, it is located, as it were, at the intersection of different directions and cultures,” says Elena. “These are the protocol facades of the mansions on the Champs Elysées, and the quiet, romantic streets of Montmartre. I was just interested in this, a secret city, bright, emotional, pulsating, which you can rather feel than see. When I started to decorate this apartment, I wanted to bring the mood of the Parisian spring here - sunny, flourishing, but with chill. This was reflected in the whole color decision. The emphasis was on boiled white. ”

The apartment is located on the last floor of a house with a high roof, which made it possible to make high (more than three meters) ceilings and real, Parisian floor-to-floor windows. Such windows-doors with small openwork balconies are one of the characteristic features of the French style. Thanks to them, the interior is filled with light even on cloudy days, which are not uncommon in Siberia. “There is a certain psychological effect. In such an open, airy and bright house it is even easier to breathe, ”Elena is sure. The architectural part of the project involved Andrey Tiguntsev. He invented a huge dome-shaped ceiling, combining four rooms - a kitchen, a living room, a fireplace and a sofa area. Due to the fact that the ceiling is raised by 4.5 meters, a soaring effect is created, playing on the general mood of the “airy” interior.

With the situation there were no problems. Helen and her husband, in addition to their own interior design, have been supplying furniture and other interior items for 18 years. "In the children's room, for example, there is a bed made in a factory ALIVAR. We bought it 15 years ago, when we first started working in the interior sphere. This is a true family heirloom. By the way, a great example of design that does not become outdated, does not bother you, and you don’t want to part with such things, ”says the decorator. - The apartment has a lot of furniture by the design of the famous Italian architect Antonio Chitterio - concise, with good, correct proportions, which is considered a modern classic. In the interior, rich in classic decor, minimalist furniture looks quite expressive, it does not weigh down the space, but makes it light and modern.

Project author Elena Berezina: “Paris is my favorite city, and in my apartment I wanted to create a Parisian mood. The French are able to combine cutting-edge style and classic trends, which I tried to reflect in the design of this apartment. Here there is one and the other. Moreover, the modern decor sets off and complements the classic decor of walls, ceilings and doorways. ”
