A thematic conference titled “The Future is Now”, for which the Royal Theater of Madrid was chosen, was also timed to the opening. The program includes the participation of the best of the best: the former mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, Apple’s design division chief Jonathan Quince, last year’s Pritzker winner and curator of the last Venice Biennale, Alejandro Aravena, designer Patricia Urkiola, artist Olafur Eliasson, and many other successful professionals. Despite the fact that the headquarters of the fund opens only today, the results of its work are already quite noticeable. At the architectural biennale in Venice, a full-sized prototype of a dronoport, a base of UAVs, providing fast and inexpensive delivery of urgent cargoes to the most hard-to-reach areas of Rwanda, is put up. The project was developed jointly with Jonathan Ledgard of the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne. Vaulted brickwork is planned to be built by local residents and, if possible, from local materials.

Modular cells can also be combined into groups and placed in them medical services, post offices, e-commerce points and other important infrastructure. So, in the future, a network of such stations is able to relatively quickly solve many social problems of the African continent.
