Calm Switzerland, this tiny confederation located in the heart of Europe, attracts many foreigners - supporters of anonymous and safe rest. So a mysterious manufacturer decided to build a house for his family here, between the shining blue of the sky and the purity of the lake water. The road leading to the house is made of snow-white material, so clean that it is simply impossible to believe it until you see it with your own eyes. Young talented decorators from Lyon, spouses Herve and Dominique Guges, the owners of the thriving Baroque boutique, invented the fabulous design. Thanks to their efforts, many estates were built and reconstructed in the vicinity of Lyon. Designers had to design countless dwellings belonging to the most sophisticated public before they received an order to rebuild the penthouse in a luxurious villa on the lake, which rises above the water surface like a real ancient palace. Such he is. So, this apartment is one of their last creations. The current coziness and comfort were worth much effort. Half a century ago, the Montreux Palace was a famous and very fashionable hotel. Being built in the twenties of the last century, he gained genuine fame at the time. And he was known not only in Montreux, but also far beyond its borders up to the fifties. There were so many people who wanted to stay in a trendy hotel that at the end of each week a seaplane arrived here from Portsmouth. But time passes inexorably, everything, as we know, is changing, and now the city is awakened only once a year - during the grand jazz festival. Over the years, in this hotel, such famous people as Charlie Chaplin, Freddie Mercury, Alain Delon hid themselves from the everyday hustle and bustle ... And this is not a complete list of names. During the day, the sun illuminates the rooms in different ways, and from this they produce quite different impressions. Coldish morning tones or a reddish glow in the rays of the setting sun surprisingly justify the choice of furniture - a strict color, but intricate forms in the Baroque style. Light and shade, the cries of seagulls, the sound of wind blowing the curtains in the manner of sails, give the house some amazing charm, it is always felt here, in any weather, at any time of the year. From the large terrace on the roof of the apartment you can clearly see the lake and the nearest “neighbor” - France. It is so nice to dream during a sun bath! After all, in Montreux you can fully enjoy the Mediterranean climate. After admiring the fabulous blade steamers that have been plying the mirror surface of the lake all day long, you can imagine yourself on the deck of a real sea cruiser. The owners of this apartment are in love with "comfortable simplicity." And thanks to Herve and Dominic, they managed to get this "desired value" in full - a living, sun-drenched house.
