“You feel yourself in the space of the subconscious, in the mystical“ communication rooms ”from David Lynch’s films. The space is filled with surrealistic details. The dominant red color is the color of renewal, energy, and life,” say the creators of the DX night club (St. Petersburg, Kondratievsky Prospect, 44, "Gigant-Hall"). Not so long ago this building was one of the largest cinemas in Leningrad. Now there is an elite concert venue, a casino, a bar and a restaurant. Club "DX" is located on the third floor where the film projector was located. Its construction has become part of the reconstruction of the entire entertainment complex. The concept is a combination of innovative art forms and new technologies. Architects with all available means developed an urban aesthetic adapted to the consciousness of the class of the young bourgeoisie. The authors of the project were attracted by the image of a virtual continent solved in the art-shock-design style. The development of the idea followed the path of synthesis of the ancient myth and revolutionary breakthroughs in the field of new technologies. Which in itself is quite shock. And bourgeois. And that means - the goal is achieved.
