“Secession, or Viennese Art Nouveau, is more interesting than French Art Nouveau,” says the decorator and collector of antiques Graf. This style (and the Munich secession close to it) is characterized by straight or slightly rounded lines, conciseness, restraint. And no gusty lines like whip blow, as in ar-nouveau. This style creates, according to the owner, a pleasant background for a comfortable life.
In the hall there is a chair created in 1898 by designer Richard Rimershmid, a participant in the Munich secession. Chandelier was designed by English architect William Arthur Smith Benson in 1897. The staircase leads to the living room, where furniture is assembled according to the design of outstanding designers of the Viennese modernist style - Josef Hoffmann, Otto Wagner, Marcel Kammerer.
