On the territory of a refined private landscaped park there are two houses built in the same style. One is a three-storey one, with spectacular double-light space and a winter garden opening into the park. The other is a two-storey one that attracts attention with an unusual constructive solution: a multi-faceted volume with a solid glazing as if it comes out of the wall plane into the gardenTwo houses In the first house are the apartments of the owners, in the second - a bath complex. "Both of them really have a lot in common: open light spaces, plastered surfaces, ceramic tiles and marble of exotic shades in decoration, fireplaces, furniture, ornaments, made by the author's sketches, - says Victoria Barekzai. - But the house is more strict and functional, unlike the bath complex. This is understandable: the philosophy of the house is determined primarily by the immediate needs of the family living in it. for real relax. Therefore, I was not afraid to give it the features of a certain theatricality and frank, catchy luxury. "Bath complex Heavy brocade curtains and organza air draperies, antique chipped columns and aged floor tiles, mosaics and paintings, golden artificial stone and oriental ornamentation - decorative accents convincingly reveal a theme co-authored with the customer. It is conditionally designated as "Rest in the desert". Moreover, the "oasis" for recreation is not simple: it keeps traces of different civilizations, from ancient ruins and Moorish tents to a state-of-the-art home cinema, the screen of which, if necessary, unfolds over the fireplace in the rest room on the first floor. It is an octahedron, five sides of which are glazed from floor to ceiling and, as it were, carry part of the room into the garden, like a bay window. Exactly opposite the central face of the octagon, the designer designed the fireplace. In front of him she put a sofa group, a lacquered console with “beams” of glass, decoratively matching with the drapery of the ceiling, lacquered nightstands and glass tables ... The design is always ambiguous. And in this case too: according to the architect, cream, black, purple and gold fully express the idea of rest in the desert. But it should be noted that they, especially in combination with "exotic" motifs, as well as lamps, giving a diffused light, also correspond to the ideas of Art Deco. The calm bourgeois style, which is extremely capable of conveying the semantics of leisure This calm and slowness are also present in the planning of bathing spaces. Wide openings instead of doors, respectable by the size of the room (total 550 sq. M.) With a "through" layout: a lounge, a Russian and Turkish baths, a washing room and a swimming pool. On the second floor - another lounge.Owners Apartments As for the layout of the house, the owners and here are primarily consistent with their own ideas about comfort. Therefore, for children (and bathrooms for children) found it appropriate to give the entire second floor. At the third made guest rooms. And the parents settled on the ground floor: their bedroom is bordered by a winter garden, from which you can go to a real garden. The office of the head of the family is also on the ground floor. Spouses like that their private domain is at the lower level - a space with a pronounced social function. For example, the mistress in the mornings herself prepares breakfast for the children, so she considers it sensible that the bedroom is located near the kitchen. And about the hospitality of this family is indirectly indicated by another feature of the ground floor layout: from the hall the guest immediately enters the dining room ... Just like in a fairy tale: "Feed me, drink, evaporate in the sauna, and then ask ..."Victoria Barekzai: First, customers built a house. Then they decided to build a bathhouse here on the site. But not simple, but a whole complex with a Turkish and Russian baths, a pool, and rest rooms. Its space is decorated in a "luxurious" style, with antique and oriental reminiscences. The host suggested a decorative theme, formulating it as a "rest in the desert."
