Well, autumn is coming, there will be more and more such evenings, and it is better to meet them fully armed, with a blanket, and furnishings with real or carefully simulated quilted surfaces.

The quilted texture is associated primarily with solid classics (in memory of former popularity in Victorian England). However, nowadays, marked by a revolution in ideas about the interior, the quilting has spread to postmodern design objects. Earlier, the dark side of the color spectrum was “fixed” to this texture, but now all restrictions have been removed: the factories are not embarrassed to produce flirty bright pink, light green, blue-blue sofas and armchairs with a quilted surface.
