The front hall serves as a watershed of the interior: on the left behind the wide opening is the living room and kitchen-dining room, on the right is the bedroom, office, and the owners' bathroom. In the hall draws attention to the ceiling stained glass with a characteristic modernа ornament-clouds and flowers, as if flowing through the air. To match his gender, also in modern style. "For the floor in the hall, I composed an ornament that looked like stylized fish scales," says Maria Bahareva. “It is made of marble mosaics created according to my sketches in an Italian factory.”

We will find a similar ornament in other rooms. In particular, in the guest bathroom, whose walls are decorated with a mosaic of marble of different shades - from white to dark green. For another bathroom, marble panels with a unique vein pattern were selected, such as if nature was commissioned by architects in an art nouveau style. “We chose marble with the owner of the house,” says the architect. “It has a delicate taste and a wonderful sense of color.” According to the architects, the apartment is obliged to her by such a bold color scheme.

The architects combined shades of lingonberry, lavender, lilac with green and with golden tones of natural wood. “We tried to take into account the fact that the windows overlook the boulevard, and with the help of color they connected the interior with the environment,” says Maria Bahareva. “It looks particularly impressive in spring, when chestnuts are blooming outside the windows.”

In this range, in particular, the ceremonial rooms - the living room and the kitchen-dining room - are maintained. These shades in combination with floral ornaments of the stucco bas-relief, boisery, upholstery and curtains create a pleasant atmosphere in the spirit of the Moscow aristocratic salon of the early twentieth century. But there is no direct copy of the famous samples of the era modernаno antiques. All furniture is modern, but classical in style. In fact, this is an elegant fantasy on the theme of the Silver Age, in which the authors used the classical principle of unity of time and place: the beginning of the twentieth century, Moscow, the Boulevard Ring.
