On October 15, the winners of the VIth All-Russian Open Competition in Residential and Public Interiors INTERIA AWARDS were announced in Surikov Hall in Moscow

During the six years of its existence, the INTERIA AWARDS award has won the status of the most authoritative professional competition. And without exaggeration it can be said that for architects it is the main one in the year. According to the Prize Organizing Committee, a total of 435 applications were received by the jury. Out of 100 interiors nominated for the Prize, 11 projects won. And the Grand Prix of the competition was received by the architect from Yekaterinburg Dmitry Pozarenko for the project of a house in the Sverdlovsk region. The best architect of the year was awarded to Sergey Shustov, Chairman of the Council of Interior Design and Architectural Environment Experts (CEID), publisher of the SALON – interior magazine, and President of the Russian Union of Designers Yuri Nazarov. It is symbolic that the award ceremony was held in a building that was built in the late 20s of the last century by an outstanding constructivist Konstantin Melnikov.
