After all, Europe is not for nothing called an old woman, she is really small and respectable: they remember here who invented such and such a cake and whose son founded such and such a hotel. The refinement of material culture is so attractive for everyone from these memorable trifles. Sacher was the first to bake Father Leopold Zaher, who created the famous Sacher Hotel in Vienna. This charming story gives a special flair to the hotel, which was built in 1876 and became one of the business cards of the classical Viennese style. The cake fits into this story very organically, because in the very aesthetics of the center of Vienna there is something so cake-like, solemnly toy-like. And Sacher Hotel is quite a gingerbread palace baked with impeccable architectural taste. The atmosphere here is luxurious, but without excesses, everything is arranged with a slight old European restraint - this is where you need to rest from Asiatic and replica. The interiors of the hotel give the impression of lightness, because here everything is done without imperial ambitions and, accordingly, without the empire gilded pomp. The halls and rooms of the Sacher Hotel are decorated in the taste of a prosperous bourgeoisie at the end of the 19th century. This style, Biedermeier, was once considered unpretentious and unimportant compared to the Empire style, but for us it is now clear that this was some kind of analogue of today's functionalism. And today, the bright interiors of the hotel with calm smooth lines are perceived as quite sublime and not without grace. Here, everything fits into a unique Viennese myth, a key feature of which since the days of Mozart is lightness. In 2002, the Sacher Hotel was delicately restored, retaining the authentic surroundings of the end of the 19th century: antique furniture, classical painting, silk wallpapers. The hotel’s 108 rooms are equipped with all modern technology, including the Internet and safes. In addition to two a la carte restaurants with traditional Austrian cuisine, there is Cafe Sacher - an open terrace overlooking the Vienna Opera and, of course, with the famous cake on the menu.Hotel Sacher Wien Flight: the cost of the flight to Vienna from $ 350.Weather: in May-June the average temperature is +18 ... + 20 ° С.Accommodation: from 300 to 4300.Entertainment: walk through one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
