“Design is a way to introduce a certain culture into a modern production process. So I understand my task and the task of my colleagues, ”says designer Gordon Guillaumier. “I worked as an art director for many years and, as it seems to me, I learned to understand quite well what a particular brand wants.”

Bits collection, diz. Gordon Guillaume for Piemme.Gordon Guillaume is able to design things minimalist, with a memorable silhouette and beautiful design. Quite often, he comes up with one catchy element: for example, in the luxurious sofa Josephine (Moroso, 2017), Guillaume slightly narrowed his legs, which by proportions began to resemble female ankles.
An excellent detail is the incision of the back like on Lucio Fontana canvases (Lyo, Frag, 2009 chair), another superidea is a wine label with a name in braille (Design Escapade, 2008).
Cтул Lyo, Frag, 2009.“When I start thinking about a new order, I try to hear as much as possible about the line of the company so that my proposal matches the request as accurately as possible. This does not mean the loss of individuality. On the contrary, the difference in approaches allows you to polish different facets of your skills: someone relies on materials, someone on the image, someone on the fact that the product liked the maximum number of potential buyers. This is a design culture that I learned from my teachers in Milan and which I try to develop. ”
