In the 1980s, a “thaw” began in Spain (the movement became known as “move”): young artists, poets, directors created new art. In the 1990s, it became so much that it took a museum, and not one. Not far from the famous Prado Museum, opened at the beginning of the 19th century, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofia Art Center appear. And the district itself was called the “Golden Triangle of Arts”.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado Hotel has found a place in the center of the Triangle, exactly opposite the Prado Museum, at the beginning of Moratin Street. The hotel occupies a corner building in the spirit of neoclassicism. Such in the XIX century in Madrid, a lot. The interior of the hotel is modern, cozy and designer. They were engaged in the famous Spanish decorators Sandra Taruela and Isabel Lopez. Each has its own design bureau, but in this project they decided to join forces. Recently, the duet was honored for the eco-restaurant in Barcelona. The project of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Madrid Prado looks no less promising. The interiors are built on beautiful color combinations, also in the spirit of eco, that is, colors that are often found in nature. For example, sand and light gray or orange-red and dark green, there are many of them in countries with a dry climate, in the same Spain.
The hotel has several restaurants. The Cask specializes in grilling. We especially recommend ribai, a classic beef steak (cut from ribs). Here you can also try local cheeses and Iberian ham. There is also a lounge bar, The Cask, with a fine selection of Spanish wines and local tapas. In the courtyard - whiskey bar - for those who love strong alcoholic beverages. The SPA center has a swimming pool and a hammam, and from the procedures, pay attention to the SPA Lunch aromatherapy massage and detox course using Tahitian black sand.
