In every adult man, somewhere deep inside, there is a kid who is eager for toys, a sort of leader of the Redskins. A toy for all times, of course, is a set of soldiers. They are loved by girls for their bright uniforms and romantic Andersen's fairy tale and adored by belligerent boys. And the latter, even if they are burdened by adult concerns, do not feed with bread - let them play “war games”: with loud cries of “Bah-bang!” to tear apart the tin (or aluminum, or wooden) army of the enemy. This is an indisputable thought and formed the basis for the interior of the St. Petersburg restaurant "According to the drum", which opened on Bolshaya Morskoy, 13. Military attributes are still in the wardrobe styled as a sentry. Having handed over things for storage, you cross the invisible border that separates the game, theatrical convention from the realities of a typical day. In the hall, you can choose a place to taste: get settled near a dashing drummer, or sit down to a steep hipster. The authors of the project each table turned into a center of a separate stage setting. And the toy-militarist theme is read everywhere here: in the beams, painted under the border posts, in a clear division into two camps: ours-others, red-green. If desired, customers at neighboring tables can start small battles, using as strategic weapons, for example, airplanes immediately constructed from napkins. The theme of the toy confrontation continues with the cards "shirts up", according to the authors' idea scattered around the hall. And then, why the brave warriors between battles do not spread to the flush? The most that neither is a soldier occupation. Especially since bivouche rest will be short. It is not for nothing that the dirigible collected from pressed cardboard is spinning under the ceiling, probably an enemy reconnaissance ... In the meantime, the waitress girls in uniforms tied with straps crosswise are spreading delicious and healthy food from the regimental kitchen to customers. True, you can't call her a soldier’s - in a restaurant, traditionally bad with barley porridge ...
