In the very center of Kiev (40/2, Vladimirskaya Str.), In the house of the beginning of the last century, a Vermeer furniture, light and accessories store was recently opened. Architect Tatyana Sleshinskaya tried to revive the spirit of old salons and private art galleries. There is not a single purchased item in the store: all shelves, stands, racks are made by hand. On the large bearing columns of the building there are reproductions from the paintings of the famous Dutchman, a fragment from Vermeer's letter is painted on the white brick wall. Furniture and accessories from THEODORE ALEXANDER, LAM LEE, LALIQUE, FABERGÈ create an atmosphere of aestheticism and luxury.
