Youth does not mean frivolity. Designers Anastasia Rykova and Anna Denisova designed an apartment for a young couple, for whom the soft style of the hotel lobby was preferable to the screaming and provocative club interior.Anastasia Rykova: “Half of this project belongs to the customer. The couple with whom we worked, was directly involved in almost all stages of work. The girl gave the idea of decorating the bedroom and, in fact, she herself was engaged in its interior, and the young man was discussing solutions on virtually all issues — from ideas to their realization. ”

The apartment turned out to be modern, with interesting architectural elements ... Anastasia Rykova: A young couple will live in this apartment, located in the Moscow-City complex. Most recently, they were students, but they approached their home decoration more than seriously. Very, so to speak, in an adult way. Customers wanted the atmosphere in the apartment to be soft, relaxed, as in the lobby of a good hotel. Before starting work on the project, they asked for a modern, muffled and slightly glamorous interior. And this despite the fact that they are young and very active people.

SALON: Do you adhere to a certain style while decorating the interior? —All apartment is decorated in a modern urban style, and in the bedroom, in my opinion, it turned out kitsch. In a couple of customers, a young man decided almost everything, but the idea of decorating the bedroom and bathroom belonged to the girl. Her wish was to be sure to use a combination of black, purple and lilac in the bedroom.

S: The main space at the same time turned out to be as open as possible ... —Of course, because the apartment has panoramic windows, a wonderful view of the city and the Moscow River. This view has become the main picture of the interior. We designed the most open space in which doors and rooms are more a necessity than a part of an architectural idea. As I have already said, our customers are very active people, but at the same time they wanted their time to almost freeze in their house and they could remain in the literal and figurative sense over the bustle of city life.

S: How many zones did you get in the apartment? —Two. Private is a bedroom and bathrooms. And the living room — it starts right from the entrance to the apartment, includes the entrance hall and enters the common space of the living room, dining room, kitchen with a small bar area. There is even a home theater and a conditional room, the functions of which are performed by the same bar counter. In fact, the whole apartment consists of one room, where, in fact, the life of the owners is concentrated.

S: The living room is full of colors and textures ... —We tried to make both architectural and color solutions to create a calm, soft, homely interior, at the same time not without chic. In the living room, for example, a lot of velvet. Customers really wanted the windows to close heavy curtains so that they could arrange, as they say, a full blackout. And if you turn off the main light in the living room in the evening and turn on two lamps, you will get a soft atmosphere just for people who want to relax and unwind from the intensity of the rhythm of life.
