Previously, myths belonged only to the epic genre, and now their interpretation can be traced to the architectural genre. One of the successful examples of this is the first floor of the gaming complex "Slava" (St. Petersburg, Slavy Ave., 30). Taking the myth of the golden rune as a basis, the authors developed a theme. In their performance, the famous voyage "Argo" acquired the features of not so much heroic as romantic travel. The concept of the interior highlights one of the most dramatic moments of the legend: the passage of the ship between the treacherous floating rocks Symplegad. Now it's time to go to the figurative row. One of its most spectacular elements is beveled structures lined with red glass. They personify the mythical Symplegades. And here act as a kind of screens, harboring players from prying eyes. Kiel "Argo", crashed into the coastal strip, turned into the reception desk. Blue tile on the floor symbolizes water, yellow - golden sand. And between them, the edge of the surf twists in a narrow strip, made in the technique of Florentine mosaic by the artist Yuri Manelis. Further, the heroic journey of the Argonauts gives way to a relaxed rest on the shore of a tropical paradise. Picturesque palm trees have grown in place of supporting structures. Here and there you can see lamps in the form of a giant sedge. Strange formations resembling either huge cacti, or small baobabs, appear in the most unexpected places (in fact, they contain ventilation diffusers). And at the far end of the weary travelers' hall the cherished goal of a long journey awaits: the blue lagoon, on the surface of which a light cake floats - a bar counter. The tom-toms are clearly heard, and the blue water of the lagoon invitingly shines with neon light.
