Probably everyone remembers the Indian film, which sounded the phrase "Sing, Jimmy, sing!". It was this phrase that gave the name to the karaoke club Jimmy Poy. In order to support the Indian theme, all the waiters were dressed in gold breeches of satin, makashin and shirts with a belt. The building in which the club is located, was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Initially it was an apartment house, then the dining room of the Central Committee of the CPSU, then the Brezhnev sauna. “We got vaulted brick ceilings with columns,” says the author of the project.
