He always dreamed of Africa, she was about Bali: at their request, the South African architect Silvio Resh and his colleague Leslie Carsten connected two different worlds under one roof. Built on stilts, the building includes eight rooms. The house is located in the shade of tall palm trees, it offers a beautiful view of the river. Inside - a real deluxe, artfully decorated. Parquet floors and rosewood furniture, an elegant mosquito curtain made of transparent linen fabric, a ceramic washbasin of a beautiful brown color — all this was painted by Silvio Resch, and created by the artisanal natives. Outside built a long wooden bridge. It connects the bedrooms with the front part, located in the center of the building. In the living room - exotic vessels from Zimbabwe, cushions with African patterns, masai hunting spears. In the dining room, located nearby, guests dine all together at the long wooden table made of solid beech. In the evenings, with the flickering flame of candles, everything here disposes to small talk. Under the "serenade" of frogs and insects exotic to the European ear, travelers enjoy sitting up late into the night, comfortably seated in brown leather armchairs. At dawn, one of ten employees who constantly work at Jao Camp accompanies the guests on a safari. Departure - at half past five, so as not to miss the moment of nature awakening. Guests go hunting in a comfortable "Land Rover" and immediately become spectators of the opera performance: birds with blue, yellow and orange feathers, sitting on millennial baobabs, sing in different voices. On the way back, guests are offered to drink water from the delta: it is considered a symbol of purity.
