Going to the island of Ibiza, Bruno Reymon hoped to find peace and quiet, which he lacked in Paris, and after some time was fascinated by this sunny corner. “I found a great climate here, preserved nature and the sea,” Bruno admits. “Besides, I saw such a mixture and diversity of cultures that cannot be boring. Most people think that Ibiza is a place where there is always a holiday, but that the island is great for a quiet life " Bruno established himself in the decision to move to the island and sold his restaurant "Elephant" - one of the most visited in Paris. A few months later, once again in Ibiza, Raymond, by happy coincidence, became the owner of an old grill bar opposite the church of San Rafael, in one of the most picturesque corners of the island. And now, as if by magic, a chic restaurant appeared in this place, named after its old memory, “Elephant”. It remained only to find a home for yourself, if possible, a cozy, old and ... not far from the restaurant. Bruno was aware that he had raised the bar too high, but being an optimist, he did not intend to give up before difficulties. He was lucky to find an old house, well preserved outside. In collaboration with renowned architect Nicolas Besse, Raymond set about rebuilding the interior of the house, while trying to preserve the appearance of the facade. The result exceeded expectations: the rooms are easily ventilated, the bathrooms have all the amenities, the modern spirit is combined with exquisite rigor. Terraces along the house dispose to the contemplation of a wonderful blooming garden. A little further, behind the pool, there is an arbor-tent, then used as a billiard room, then as a place for summer receptions. Connoisseur of beauty and travel lover, Bruno, overcome with a thirst for new adventures, seriously became interested in interior design and designed two of his own stores called "Elephant's House". Here you can find a variety of furniture, decorative objects, paintings and antiques.
