The apartment is located in a picturesque residence, located on the shores of the Ligurian Sea, in the city of Ospedaletti. The building is an example of classical architecture, very characteristic of the resort towns of the French and Italian Riviera. The apartments are no less luxurious: high ceilings — more than four meters, panoramic windows, a magnificent view of the garden and the sea. “We got a really beautiful volume,” says project author Natalya Gerasimova. —Dignified architecture, correct proportions, extraordinary landscapes — all this inspired us to create an elegant interior that combines the traditions of classical style and modern.
The designer paid tribute to the traditional environment: in the design of the space, classical techniques are guessed: the ceilings and walls are decorated with plaster cornices and hand-painted friezes. In the character of the interior, the features of the contemporary are more visible: in the process of work, the emphasis shifted towards a modern, respectable style, more relevant and refined. “The customers made very high demands on the finishing and selection of furniture,” notes Natalia. “The interior should emphasize the status of the owners and fully correspond to the location of the residence.” We used the most noble and high-quality materials: ebony buazeri, natural silk and leather, wenge and marble flooring. All cabinet furniture, kitchen were made according to individual drawings and sketches, as well as swing doors of non-standard sizes, made in a single copy especially for this project. Handmade Murano glass lamps introduced an element of “live” design into the atmosphere of the apartments, while modern art objects completed the image of an expensive premium-class interior. ”
