In the interior of a house near St. Petersburg, architect Irina Antonova, designer Galina Filimonova and decorator Snezhana Balyberdina embodied the idea of a modern mansion in the spirit of baroque

The house is located near St. Petersburg, and the authors have tried to emphasize the connection of the house with the architectural heritage of the Northern capital. This also applies to the interior and facades. According to Irina Antonova, when they started the project, the house was already built, but it would be nice to revive its facade, make it more interesting and embossed. To do this, the corners were accented with rust, the windows were decorated with decorative platbands, and the walls were decorated with bas-reliefs. As for the interior itself, its style was determined by the customer, a big fan of classical art and ancient painting. In the decoration of the baroque facades combined with classicism, and in the interior the emphasis is shifted towards a more chamber and elegant Rococo. This style fits perfectly into the surrounding architectural context, associations with palaces in Tsarskoye Selo and Oranienbaum are immediately born.
