The German company Duravit celebrates its 200th anniversary. She chose Leben im Bad as her slogan, which can be translated as “Bathrooms for Life”.

In many respects, it is thanks to Duravit that we owe today's understanding of the role of the bathroom: from the auxiliary “sanitary room” it has turned into a luxury territory, a full part of the living space. The first of the manufacturers of plumbing Duravit said: "There is a conquest of the bathroom design." Collaboration with the world's best designers contributed to rapid success - with nine Philippe Starck alone.

In March 2017, at the ISH review in Frankfurt, Duravit presented three new developments - they confirmed its commitment to first-class design.

“When I started working on the project, before my eyes I had a picture of a basin filled with water on a simple table,” says Danish designer Cecilia Manz. The ancient images of Cecilia Manz transformed into fashionable items. Her collection of Luv embodies the best of Scandinavian design - purity of form and timeless elegance.

DuraCeram® sinks are remembered for thin lines, volumetric bowls and sharp edges. They are mounted on console tables, the legs of which are adjustable in height. Countertops are made of quartz of three shades or from an array in American walnut finish. The DuraSolid® composite bath is matched in shape to the sinks; there is a free-standing model, a wall version and corner versions. Baths are complemented by an inconspicuously integrated air or hydromassage system and / or an integrated sound system that serves Bluetooth compatible devices. Silky-matte glazed surface can be white, gray or sand, varnishes are presented in shades of white, Scandinavian white, taupe, gray stone, pale blue, dark blue.

The picture is completed with a mirror with a built-in dimmer and heated in three widths, from 50 to 160 cm. A dazzle LED backlight at the top edge ensures illumination up to 700 lux.

Vero Air

Vero Air is developing a successful Vero series. In 2001, designers Duravit and designer Kurt Mercke, Jr., with the launch of Vero, laid the foundation for an architectural approach to bathroom design and have since constantly refined the series: expanded the size range and color palette, replenished with plumbing fixtures and furniture.

The new collection has retained the characteristic rectangular configuration of Vero, and thanks to advanced technical capabilities, the shape has become even clearer. She received a supplement in the form of the most modern toilet bowls made using rimless technology, various furniture with a c-bonded system (allows you to seamlessly connect the sink and washbasin). Washbasins are available in 5 sizes, overhead sinks - in two; they are proposed to be combined with furniture series Vero and L-Cube, respectively. The furniture from these series was specially adapted to the new products.

The design of the Vero Air collection is continued in monolithic acrylic bathtubs, separately standing and recessed, in four sizes. The equipment with a new air-hydromassage system, supplemented by a piezo-button, is installed in the bathtubs - this version of the button does not contain moving mechanical parts and is therefore exceptionally reliable.

Toilets and bidets in the series are also presented in a rectangular shape typical of Vero, but are completed by rounding down. The toilet seat is easily removed at the touch of a button, and the pottery is easy to clean. Especially for angular geometry, Duravit optimized the drain system. Innovative rimless technology has proven its effectiveness and hygiene. New ceramic glaze HygieneGlaze 2.0. Guarantee even greater comfort and hygiene. Upon request, the toilet is complemented with a seat with a SensoWash Slim shower - designed by Philippe Starck.

The peculiarity of the new DuraSquare series is clear outer edges and smooth inner contour lines. The design is architectural and precisely designed. Washbasins are made of new ceramic mass DuraCeram®. The material allows you to form shells with very thin (only 5 mm) and durable sides. Duravit pays special attention to parallel lines.

Products are presented in the sizes that are most in demand: 100 and 60 cm (sinks), 60 cm (overhead sinks). Especially attractive washbasins look in combination with new pieces of furniture. Curbstone is adjustable in height and is available in chrome silver or finish "black matte". The glass shelf, available in six color options, brings a bright accent to the bathroom and can be combined with all Duravit furniture programs.

Call sink DuraSquare.

The design of the DuraSquare bathtub corresponds to the washbasins. The baths are made of DuraSolid material based on mineral casting and are attractive for their warm and pleasant to the touch surface. Duravit offers 180 x 80 cm models (built-in version) and 185 x 85 cm (free-standing bath). New air-hydromassage and sound system will provide full relaxation.
