Sitting in Cologne on the funny puffs of Tazia, we talked with Pascal Murgom, a famous french designer. Here, at the stand of the LIGNE ROSET company, in January 2004 he presented his new modelsSALON: What happens to the forms? - Now forms a huge variety. Each designer has his own opinion. As there are many books in the library, so there are many forms and views. And it will always be. There are many cultures in the world, in each of them there is even a peculiar way. Sitting on the floor, on low stands, reclining, sitting at the table ... I am interested in adapting different cultures to each other. I do not want to bring into the interior a thing that will stand and look completely alien. Such a mix should be made comfortable for European culture. In principle, it seems to me that the most important thing in furniture is the pleasure and comfort that a person gets from it. It is necessary that the furniture evoke emotions not only by its appearance.S: This year, many manufacturers have offered miniature things. Why?  - Maybe people prefer small things, because they do not have large spaces? Italians, on the other hand, are making more and more large things. Perhaps the Italians think that the bigger the thing, the more luxury it is. For example, the sofa company CASSINA this year is incredible. It's nice if there is where to put it. And if it is important that the furniture speaks for itself. But personally, I feel closer to making things that make a person feel different. S: Refresh - Yes, yesterday I saw a gentleman who sat for two hours on a Tazia pouf, read a magazine and clearly enjoyed it. I looked at him, and I was pleased that I accurately guessed the proportions of the pouf, when he seemed to be small, but so comfortable that you could relax and use it at work, and seat the guests at the table ... Man should not be captured by the brand. He should come home and relax. when people communicate, relax, enjoy in the interior, which is pleasant to them.
