When the project of this apartment in Paris was being developed, the owners expressed the wish that their housing would be equipped with the latest models of home video and audio devices. The main requirement for the entire electronics complex was the ability not to conflict with the classic apartment interior. At first, customers did not believe in the possibility of such a compromise. The apartment is antique furniture, which was stored in the family for several generations, so the owners believed that any equipment in this context will look too hard, will stand out from the general style. According to the owners, the speakers should be organically combined with the situation and be the least visible. Therefore, the main goal of the installers was to create a single audio system, delivering exceptional sound quality from media such as CD, DVD and radio, provided it is neutral to the interior. Thus, the key element (from the point of view of design) became the speakers that can be easily hidden, namely, the columns of the Danish company Artcoustic. In terms of plan, the apartment is a rectangle and consists of a living room with a home cinema, adjoining the dining room, the master bedroom and bathroom, a children's bedroom and a play room, a maid's room, a guest bathroom and a large kitchen. In each of these premises they installed the latest audio and video equipment, while the efforts of architects and installers were aimed at hiding it. The home theater was equipped with a surround sound system according to the 7.1 scheme (seven speakers and a subwoofer). We installed Artcoustic DF65-50 front and rear speakers and DF-Multi center channel speaker; Diablo Mini was used for the side channel, two Diablo Active Subwoofer subwoofers complement the system. In the master bedroom they put two columns DF65-50, designed specifically for plasma screens, which, in turn, were also made by special order and therefore perfectly combined with the romantic floral decoration of the room. In the bathroom - Diablo Monitor speakers are very concise design. In the dining room, they installed absolutely small Diablo Monitor, which are practically not visible on the bookshelves. The control system is common to all rooms. With one remote control, you can control all audio and video equipment, lighting and curtains, as well as alarm. The mistress chose the color of the audio and video components and protective panels of the speakers personally. As a result, I ordered panels with an image of orchids, printed using digital printing.Back
