The Sky Lounge restaurant, which is located in the building of the Academy of Sciences in Moscow, recently opened a VIP-room.

The Sky Lounge restaurant itself is located on the 22nd floor of the Academy of Sciences, and the VIP room is on the 23rd. Prior to this, on the 23rd floor there were technical rooms, and the architects did everything from scratch. “Although this is a single volume of only 100 square meters, it immediately gives the impression of a complex space,” says the architect. Zoya Samorodova. - This effect is achieved through a variety of reflective surfaces and light effects. The column in the center of the hall is "wrapped" in dark gray tinted glass. With the lights on, this rather massive structure works like a mirror. Many other columns also perform the function of lamps: they are decorated with satin fabric, and the backlight is made inside. ”

A huge moon chandelier with 250 strands of glass beads and a large table resembling a crescent moon, created from sketches Roman Leonidov. The main color here is white. When evening comes, the columns begin to glow, the light from the large chandelier resembles the twinkling stars in the sky, because the theme of the sky and clouds is main here.
