The presentation of the new VISIONNAIRE collection by Maria Serebryanoy took place at the iSaloni exhibition in Milan. Recently, the collection appeared in Moscow, in the exposition of the salon Visionnaire Moscow, which was an excellent occasion to meet with the author. The architect told us what the magic of the things she had created was: “The collection was named Vaslav — in the spirit of the philosophy of the Visionnaire brand. The company rapidly broke into the design world of the 2000s, making a bet on the historical heritage in the style of the Gothic tale. I immediately became her fan. It is a great honor for me to get into the pantheon of talents with whom the factory and Luigi Cavalli personally collaborate: Alessandro La Spada, Samuele Mazza, Robeto Lazzero and others.

This year my second work for Visionnaire was presented. The Vaslav collection includes a bed, a chest of drawers, armchairs, a table, in the design of which the crystal structure is beaten. The backs of the chairs, the facades of the dresser and the pedestals are made of faceted smoky glass. The play of light, which creates and multiplies reflections, is fascinating. Particularly impressive this finish looks in combination with the details of embossed leather and chrome-plated metal. Also, together with the specialists of the factory, we have thought out an impressive technical "stuffing". So, the dresser is equipped with a built-in safe (in the top drawer) with an electronic combination lock. Inside there are compartments for jewelry, watches and so on. Customers are often asked to do something similar for them. Such safe is a precaution (against random people in the house).

The main technical novelty, of course, is a bed with a height adjustable headboard. Visionnaire furniture is designed for large spaces, often with panoramic windows, and the bed in this case is placed in the center of the room, which implies the presence of backrest decor. I made a backrest-transformer, which I could perfectly realize at the factory: in order to feel more comfortable, when you sleep, you can lift it (controlled with the help of the console), then lower it so that the pronounced vertical line does not destroy the “height” of the room. As an architect, I know how important this is when you strive to create a whole image. By the way, the mechanism itself is completely silent! ”
