SALON: Sergey, tell us what tasks you had when designing the interior?
No wonder they say, time will tell. Errors will always be indicated by time, and no matter in what style the interior is made, a good interior is relevant in any era, it is timeless. This is the interior in which you want to live, which causes emotions, and the simpler it is, the more chances it has to live longer, stay modern, be on the edge of time. In this case, the task was to create a modern interior for five weeks, comfortable and technological, light and monumental at the same time.
The layout of the apartment is linear: large rooms are discrete and flow into each other. The zoning is carried out with the help of partitions made of tempered glass and aluminum guides; curtains are provided for insulation. Part of the function of zoning perform cabinets and racks. As the architect explains, nowadays glass partitions, thanks to modern technologies, are comparable in sound insulation to brick walls. In itself, tempered glass has sound-proofing properties, in turn, aluminum guides are filled with sound-absorbing materials plus curtains - in the complex they give a strong sound-proof effect
