Pena is a seafood restaurant. Chamber, funny, cute. The central hall was built in the phono of an inverted boat, the walls are painted white, the legs of the tables are wrapped in ropes ... The designers of the new institution located in the center of Kiev (Yaroslav Val, 30/18) did not imitate any of the styles in which Sea food restaurants are usually made. For a city located in an exciting, but still not close proximity to the sea, the decision is reasonable. Pena is a collection of free associations for a given gastronomic theme: here is a telescope, porthole windows, shelves in the form of a map of the hemispheres, and a sushi hall, which is mandatory in conditions of total Japanese hobby. In Kiev restaurant - high-quality feminized design, built on close attention to detail and detail. Each room has its own furniture ordered, various-sized frames are nailed to the ceiling, and souvenirs from different parts of the world are on the shelves ... The authors of Foam admire the little things put up for viewing by lovers of mussels and lobsters, and at the same time gently sneering at today's interior fashion, sincere, immediate passion of modern catering designers to all ethnic, over the popularity of aged furniture and Gaudi motifs in the toilet room ... This irony and love attitude to trifles is the contribution of two young Kiev design ditch in the creation of the most important components of a successful restaurant business - it is also called "spirit of the institution."
