The second time in Lisbon (a city standing on seven hills) from September 9 to September 11 was the exhibition In'nova. More than two hundred national companies from different provinces represented ceramics, porcelain, textiles and furniture this year. To a sophisticated exhibition, it may seem to a person that the Portuguese design is a bit simple. But this is only at first glance. A country with centuries-old “decorative and applied” history continues the traditions of the past and, without changing it, turns out to be at the height of fashion. It happens. The concept of hand made here can be written with a capital letter. The craft workshops of Portugal still use the manufacturing techniques and murals used in the 15th century. This is where the genuine sincerity of most stands stands. Cabbage, sardines and port - the main menu in Portugal, so glass and ceramic items of various shapes and types, repeating food and drink, often beat this topic.
